It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Beatrice Thelen (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on October 9, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Richard K. Thelen; her siblings, Cletus "Steiny", Estella Brouillette, Cecil, Mary Cecilia Redinbo (Mayme), Ethel, Lucille Schwartz (Toots), Leo, John and Margaret (Maggie); her daughter-in-law Nancy Whicker (David); and her father Eric Underwood.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Thelen (Diana Brand) of Eau Claire, WI, Lawrence Thelen (Maureen Doheny) of Phoenix, AZ, Gayle Thelen (Sarah Kimball) of Orchard Park, NY and Diane Kneile (Robert); and also, David Thelen (Noreen Olsen) of Wadsworth, OH and Gregory Thelen (Madonna Obery) of Valparaiso, IN.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
