He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Dunbar and Mae Nolia Harris (Jamerson); and his brother Lawrence Harris. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Harris of Lafayette; his children, Jessica Hart (Charles) of Pittsburgh, PA and James Harris of Lafayette; and his siblings, Winford Harris of Gary, Clarence Harris of Merrillville and Veleda Robinson (Marvin) of Merrillville. He is also survived by many extended family members on both his and his wife.
