Barbara Marie Burle Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Marie Burle of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Simms and Cecilian Simms (Blanchard); her husband Leroy Burle; her stepfather Robert R.; her siblings, Paul Simms (Clara), Bill Simms (Barbara), Glennadean Jeffries (Lois "Jeff"), Betty Cornell (Gordon), Ginny Mull (Wilbur) and Chris Barker (Edward); and her sister-in-law Carol Kirts.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Berkebile of Highland, CA, Richard Hughes (Julie) of Brookston and Christy Johnson (Frank) of Otterbein; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Chad, Tabitha, Shane and Kenny; her great grandchildren, Trey, Quentin, Abigale, Jacob, Andrew, Frankie, Zack, Zoe, Heinrick and William; her great great grandchildren, Cohen, Evie and Ryker; and her brothers, Charlie, Udell (Donna), Bobby (Barbara) and Jack Kirts (Rosemary).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Soller-Baker Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Cemetery Tippecanoe Memory Gardens (1718 W 350 N, West Lafayette, IN 47906).
