With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Marie Burle of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Simms and Cecilian Simms (Blanchard); her husband Leroy Burle; her stepfather Robert R.; her siblings, Paul Simms (Clara), Bill Simms (Barbara), Glennadean Jeffries (Lois "Jeff"), Betty Cornell (Gordon), Ginny Mull (Wilbur) and Chris Barker (Edward); and her sister-in-law Carol Kirts.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Berkebile of Highland, CA, Richard Hughes (Julie) of Brookston and Christy Johnson (Frank) of Otterbein; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Chad, Tabitha, Shane and Kenny; her great grandchildren, Trey, Quentin, Abigale, Jacob, Andrew, Frankie, Zack, Zoe, Heinrick and William; her great great grandchildren, Cohen, Evie and Ryker; and her brothers, Charlie, Udell (Donna), Bobby (Barbara) and Jack Kirts (Rosemary).
