He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Munson and Opal Lionberger Munson; and his siblings, Vernon and Donna. He is survived by: his wife Rev. Jaqueline C. "Jackie" Munson of Lafayette; his children, Jennifer (Steve Betz), Jon (Priscilla Munson) and Eric L. Munson of Delphi; his sisters, Faye (Richard Rhinehart) and Wilma (Rasty Stephens); his grandchildren, Brooke, Zachariah, Presley, Landon and Jalyn; his great grandchild Avi; and his mother-in-law Genevieve MacIntire of Las Vegas, NV..
