With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred Carmen Moore (Lafayette, Indiana), born in Muncie, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Moore and Helen Moore (Rodenberger); his siblings, Virginia Laverne Moore, Dorothy Jean Moore, Thelma Louise Coffman and Harold Wayne Moore; and his grandson Branden Lee Moore.
He is survived by: his close friend Butch Groves; his wife Phyllis Jean Barr; his children, Paula La'Nay Bennett (Jeff) of Lafayette, IN, Sheryl Lynn Estes (John) of Weatherford, TX and Rodger Allen Moore of Midway, GA; his stepdaughter Terri Sue Fancil of Eaton, IN.; his sisters, Marjorie Winn (Chuck) of Losantville, IN and Sara LaRue Dean; and his son-in-law Jeff. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
