He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph B. Coons and Helen Coons (Peacock); his wife Mary Warters; his children, Lance Coons (Kim) and Lynae Coons; his grandson Landon Coons; and his siblings, Julia Staton, Sam Coons and Fredric Jay Coons. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
