He is survived by: his wife Terry Lee Goodsen McNew; his daughter Rita Elizabeth McNew; his siblings, Vic Ray McNew and Sharon Hagmeier; his grandchildren, Myla Rayne Lavender and Hazel Leeann Englert; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Robbins and Allen Ray McNew.
