He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy Coffey and Alta Coffey; his wife Betty Coffey; his daughter Tonya Coffey; and his son-in-law Steve Schweitzberger.
He is survived by: his children, James (Teresa), Richard Coffey (Trena) and Tammy Schweitzberger; and his sister Myrtle Whitman. He is also survived by grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (318 E Chestnut St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
