It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Sue McRae of Laconia, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Stevens and Mellie Lohmeyer Stevens; and her siblings, Bonnie Dennison, Wanda Maxine LaDuke, Yvonne Pease, Nelson and Albert Stevens.
She is survived by: her husband James Alvin McRae; her daughters, Debbie Sue Gerth (Scott), Jamie Ann Ferree (Kenny) and Tina Lee Walther (Vince); her grandchildren, Nicole Windell (Aaron), Dillon Walther, Cody Ferree (Shelby) and Hannah Walther; her great grandchildren, Lainy Windell and Presley Ferree; and her siblings, Floyd Stevens (Mary Rose), Alice Hoke, Linda Faith (Ronnie), Eleanor Keinsley, Virginia Absher (Alan) and Judy Schoen (Rodney).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
