He is survived by: his wife Debra Carver Satterfield; his daughter Kimberly Sutherland (Tim); his grandchildren, Logan Sutherland (Abby), Lucas Sutherland and Landen Sutherland; his great grandchild Lanie Grace Sutherland; and his siblings, Fred Satterfield, Steve Satterfield, Karen McCutcheon (Toney), Betty Mertens, Brenda Fogarty, Paulette Emily (Mike) and Kathy Hanks (Dennis).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
