He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Fain and Nora Fain (Biggs); his wife Marilyn Jean Hartle; his stepson Mark Nalepka; and his siblings, Audrey Briggs, Pearl Beasley, Mary Briggs and Eldon "Bud" Fain.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Sauers (Brian) of La Porte, Delynn Ervin (Tom) of Pensacola, FL and Curtis Fain (Kimi) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Brienne Robertson (Jeff) of Hudsonville, MI, Lauren Sauers of La Porte, Alexis Fain of Golden, CO, Amelia Sauers of La Porte, Corporal Mariah Fain of Beaufort, S. C., Jack Ervin (Devlin) of Pensacola, FL, Kerigan Hundt of La Porte and Zachary Fain of La Porte; his great grandchildren, Cole, Elena, Leah and Noah; and his brother Joe Fain of Mill Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
