With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Gail Burkhart of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hammonds and Gail Hammonds (Kerchner); her husband Charles Burkhart; and her daughter Susan Stone. She is survived by: her children, David Stone (Melissa) of La Porte, Kristina Yacconi of La Porte, Michelle Joyner (Ricky) of North Liberty and Josh Stone of La Porte; her grandchildren, Malin Yacconi, Jina Winters (Alex), Jade Yacconi, Brittoni, William Stone, Lilly, Lexxie Stone, Shane Kody, Anya Wyse and Mathew Stone; her great grandchildren, Maya, Xavier and Phoenix; and her siblings, Pam Holbrook (Rick), Becky Mills, Jeffrey Hammonds (Lori) and Kathy Gregorich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
