Vern Schoof Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2021, at the age of 86, Vern Schoof of La Porte, Indiana, born in Union Mills, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Schoof and Daisey May Schoof (Giesler); his wife Lorraine Laverne Hubner; his son Matthew Schoof; and his siblings, Richard, Willard, William Schoof, Irene, Marcela, Louise, Joann and Agnes.
He is survived by: his sons, Glen Schoof of La Porte and Douglas Schoof (Donna) of Woodridge, IL; his grandchildren, Levi Schoof of La Porte, Brittany Schoof of La Porte and Dan Huemmer (Vicki) of Willowbrook, IL; his great grandchild Veronica Huemmer; his sisters, Evelyn and Bernadine; and his pets, Midnight, Fuzzball and Sebrina.
Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six-feet.
