He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dunfee and Irene Dunfee (Marx); his wife Marilyn A. Coffeen; his sons, Gary L. Dunfee and Douglas A. Dunfee; and his sister Margaret Ann "Maggie" Kapuscinski.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Karen Dunfee of La Porte; his grandson Eric Thomas Dunfee (Laura) of Rolling Prairie; his great grandchildren, Audrey Kay and Sydney Marie Dunfee; and his siblings, Beverly "Peach" Bell of Mishawaka and Everett "Goog" Dunfee of Stillwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
