He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sr. Stepanek and Mary Stepanek (Garbowski); his former wife Margaret "Mugsie" Boardman; and his siblings, Michael Stepanek, Walter Stepanek, Mercislaus Stepanek, Julius Stepanek, Stanley Stepanek Jr., Casimir Stepanek, Stephen Stepanek and Sister Mary Stepanek.
He is survived by: his wife Christine (Brodzinski); his children, Theodore J. Stepanek Jr. (Joy) of Batesville, Ann M. Stocks (Thom) of Coquille, Laura A. Bladecki (Richard) of New Carlisle and Paul Stepanek Boardman (Margaret) of Culver, Indiana; his grandchildren, Katie Howe, Richard Bladecki Jr., Amy Wines, Brett Stocks, Melissa Bladecki, George Boardman and Charles Boardman; his great grandchildren, Mikey Carter, Ayden Bladecki, Michelle, Donnie Kazmierzak, Sage, Teagan Stocks, Augie, Olivia Howe, Kianna, Katie, Kody Stocks, Alina and Samantha Blaze; and his stepchildren, Sarah Arden (Tim), Brad Brodzinski (Candace), Megan Emrich (Brian) and Eric Brodzinski. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
