He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Seth C. and Martha Christine Philbrook (Simon); his wife Rose Hart; and his brother Dr. Phillip Philbrook. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Shultz (Robert) of Elkhart, Janice Yandt (Eric) of La Porte, David Philbrook (Helen) of Raleigh, NC and John Philbrook (Melissa) of Crown Point; his grandchildren, Andrew Yandt of La Porte, Kathryn Dermody (Matthew) of Fort Collins, CO, Christopher Shultz of Elkhart, Megan Lester (Jesse) of Goshen, Jessica Philbrook of San Francisco, CA, Jennifer Philbrook of Charlotte, NC, Parker Philbrook of Crown Point, Lara Rose of Raleigh, NC, Lily Ana of Raleigh, NC and Michael Philbrook of Raleigh, NC; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Jack Dermody, Morgan and Reagan Lester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
