It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Miller of La Porte, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schmich and Bessie Schmich (Fee); her husband John J. "Jack" Miller; and her brother Robert Schmich. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Miller of South Bend, James Miller (Angie) of La Porte and Bob Miller of La Porte, Indiana; and her sister Norene Quartuccio of La Porte. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
