He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Schrier and Kathaleen L. Schrier (Cowgill); his brothers, Donald Schrier, Charlie Schrier, Robert Schrier and Henry Schrier, Jr.; and his great-nephew Henry J. Koepke.
He is survived by: his sisters, Cynthia Schrier (Chris Sexton) of La Porte, Lauri Chapman (Calvin) of South Bend and Pat Wiltfong (Wayne) of La Porte; and his pet Fred. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
