He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Padgett and Naomi Padgett (Matthews); his wife Judith Lloyd; his son Steven Padgett; and his brother Gary Padgett.

He is survived by: his daughter Manon Wilhelm (John); his sister Carol Schell of La Porte; and his friend Jackie Orszulak.

In his memory, memorial contributions may be given to the La Porte New Day Foundation, PO Box 13 LaPorte, Indiana 46350.
