He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pruden and Elizabeth Pruden (Weiler); and his brother James Pruden. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Riley; his children, Heather Pruden of La Porte, IN and Grant Pruden (Megan) of New Albany, IN; his granddaughter Hailee Pruden of New Albany; and his siblings, Barbara Wong, Mary Stucker, Loretta Smith, Lisa Campbell (Keith), Michael (Pat), Jerry (Dah) and Jeff Pruden (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center, 2855 W. State Road 2, La Porte, IN 46350 in loving memory of Roger Allen Pruden.
