It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert William Meyers of La Porte, Indiana, born in Buchanan, Michigan, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meyers and Esther Meyers (Marsh); his former spouse LaVonn L. Aikman; his daughter Patricia; and his grandson Zachary Goodwin.

He is survived by: his fiancée Sharon Weaver; his children, Ron Meyers (Kayla) of Westville, Deb Lute (Dan) of Logansport and Tammy Goodwin (Jeff) of Wanatah; and his grandchildren, Stella Swieboda (Kevin), Richie Meyers, Doug Meyers (Courtni), Amber Allie (Darren), Erin Smith (Travis), Jeremy Goodwin (Elizabeth), Jordan Goodwin and Jamilyn Buchwaiter (Coty). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, 10027 W. 1000 S., Wanatah, IN 46390.
