He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Kathleen Smith (Leahy). He is survived by: his son Mason Alexander Smith; his siblings, Susie Masterson (Jim Ritter) of La Porte, Tom Masterson (Becky) of Rolling Prairie and Bill Smith of La Porte; his sister-in-law Lily Masterson of Rolling Prairie; his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Brett, Nichole, Katie and Michael R.; his half-brothers, Brayden and Zane; and also Stephanie Watkins. He is also survived by four great nephews.
