He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank D. Wheaton and MinnieI; his son Robert Wheaton; and his siblings, Evelyn Hayes, Delbert Wheaton and John Bellis.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Wheaton of LaPorte, IN; and his siblings, Edith Kraus of LaPorte, IN and Ray Bellis (Juanita) of Rolling Prairie, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
