It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Addison Coburn Sr. (La Porte, Indiana), born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Coburn and Thelma Mae Coburn (Savage); and his brothers, Robert, Jr. and Ronald "Bud" Coburn. He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Coburn, Jr., Steve Coburn (Rosie), Vicky Samuelson (Doug), Terry Hazelgrove (Terry) and Kim Kubaszyk (JR); his grandchildren, Ricky Coburn (Brandie), Ryan Rospierski, Joshua Samuelson (Nikki), Morgan Platt (Aaron), Nicholas Hazelgrove (Caitlin), Jenifer Samuelson (James), Clinton Coburn (Liz), Brandon Kubaszyk, Connor Coburn (Jessica), Ashley Pesa (Pablo), Jonathon Samuelson (Quinn), Garrett Kubaszyk (Saige), Robert Coburn and Keegan Kubaszyk; his great grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Destinee, Kamerin Rospierski, Peyton Kubaszyk, Finnegan Hazelgrove, Russell Samuelson, Carson Coburn, Adeline Hazelgrove, Mitchell Samuelson, Elliott Platt, Lydia Samuelson, Olivia Coburn, Adrianna Weir, Piper Hazelgrove, Cora Pesa and James Weir; his great great grandchild Ainslee Wogoman; his siblings, Barbara Ann Meeks (late Harry), Doris Jean Flinchum (late Joe) and Charles Coburn, Sr. (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Mary Coburn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
