She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Lee and Gladys Vance Adkins; her daughter Connie Shiff; her brother Leon Adkins; and her former husbands, Bill Schepel and James Shiff.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry David Adkins (Marti) of Fort Worth, TX and Sharon Disbrow of New Carlisle, IN. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
