It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Lapczynski of La Porte, Indiana, born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Schneider and Violet Schneider (Smisek); her grandson Dustin Ellenwine; and her siblings, Joanne Freeland and Phillip Schneider.

She is survived by: her husband Arthur Lapczynski; her daughters, Gina DeMeyer (Scott) of New Carlisle and Michelle Lapczynski of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Alvie Ellenwine, Bronson Ellenwine and Drake Ellenwine.
