She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Purcell and Ferrie Purcell (Groves); her son Douglas Kuta; and her half-sister Diane. She is survived by: her husband Edmund J. Kuta; her daughter-in-law Elaine Kuta of La Porte, Indiana; her brother Stephen Purcell (Martha) of La Porte, Indiana; her niece Jennifer Thompson (Andrew) of La Porte, Indiana; her great-nephews, Collin and Preston Thompson; and her close friend Jackie Hardesty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
