She was predeceased by: her parents, George Helt and Myra Helt (Barnes); her husband Robert Herod; her children, Gail Schroder and Kent Herod; her great grandchild Cody Mitchell; and her siblings, Margarite Rupert (Howard), George Helt (Bea), John Helt, Howard Helt and Kenny Helt (Kate).
She is survived by: her children, Scott Herod (Celia) of South Bend, IN and Sindee Ramaekers (Tony) of Rolling Prairie, IN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Sullivan (Stephen) of Cypress, TX, Lesley Herod of Chesterton, IN, Kristen Moore (Chad) of La Porte, IN, Lynsey Orzulak of St. Cloud, MN and Angie Weber (Tim) of New Carlisle, IN; her great grandchildren, Maxwell Sullivan, Samuel Sullivan, Taylor Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, Savanah Moore, Jackson Moore, Tyler Weber, Morgan Weber, Kyle Weber and Stella Glover; and her great great grandchildren, Malaya Butler, Kaden Weber, Kolton Weber and Olivia Weber.
