We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Norma Jones of La Porte, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Simcox and Berniece Simcox (Janzaruk); her brother Jack Simcox; and her son Stephen Jones. She is survived by: her spouse Francis "Al" Jones; her children, Douglas Jones (Betsy), Brenda Poer (Bruce) and Gregory Jones (Dawn); her daughter-in-law LaTreva Jones; and her uncle Edwin Simcox. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Because of Norma's last act of generosity, in lieu of flowers, guests are asked to bring a children's book to donate in her honor, or a cash donation for books to be purchased, addressed to the church.

“Norma & I grew up together in the same neighborhood. We drifted apart but about a year ago I stopped by her house & we have talked on the phone several times since then. It was just a couple weeks ago, she called me & I was shocked to hear her name on the radio today. I'm so sorry for all of your losses,”
