She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Diederich and Ruth Diederich; her husband Carl Leroy Barden; and her daughter Vicki Young. She is survived by: her children, Ted Barden (Shea) of La Porte, Leslie Jahns (Michael) of Petoskey, MI and Kathy Rondeau (Dennis) of Bridgman, MI; her grandchildren, Amy Thornberry (Dan), Brandon Bernacchi (Paige), Justin Bernacchi (Cheryl), Lindsey Low (Devin), Preston Jahns, Dylan Barden (Kristen), Hannah Dooley (Ryan) and Robert Barden; and her great grandchildren, Bobby, Lucca, Enza, Geane, Derrick, Erica, Piper, Alana, Ryne and Melody. She is also survived by 2 brothers; 3 sisters.
