Michael Mathis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Mathis (La Porte, Indiana), born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Mathis; and his grandparents, Hollis, Marie Harrison, Phreno and Carrie Mathis.
He is survived by: his mother Sonja Mathis (Harrison) of La Porte; his sisters, Sherry Grubb, Candy Evans (Charlie) of La Porte and Tami Frame of La Porte; and his stepdaughter Alyse James. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Because of Mike's love of animals, the family requests memorial donations be made to the La Porte Co. Small Animal Shelter, 2855 West State Road 2, La Porte, IN 46350.
