He is survived by: his son Barry Shinn of La Porte; his daughter-in-law Terri Shinn of La Porte; his grandchildren, Alison Zoll (Cody) of La Porte, Caly Russell (Jeremy) of La Porte, Cara Roberts (Michael) of Buchanan, MI and Tyler Uebler of Ft; his great grandchildren, Conner, McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Emma, McKayla, Trey, Toby and Beckett; and his nieces and nephews, Carey, Sherry, Darlene, Barbara and Allen.
