It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marylin Bartels of La Porte, Indiana, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pumphrey and Juanita Pumphrey (Ostrerander); her daughter Christina Marie Bartels; and her sister Dee McCaleb. She is survived by: her sons, Weston Bartels (Dorothy) of La Porte and Wayne H. Bartels of Indianapolis. She is also survived by two grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
