She was predeceased by: her parents, James Abraham Garfield Midlar and Rae Beatrice Midlar (Slocum); her brothers, James Midlar and Jeffery Midlar; her son Christopher Masterson; and her grandson Thomas Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Masterson (Jeff Thompson) of La Porte, IN and Connie Lipscomb (Dan) of La Porte, IN; her sister Margaret Hakes of Kingsbury, IN; her grandchildren, Drew Lipscomb, Tiffany Ransom, Sarah Byer, Mitchell Byer (Aubree Branch) and Jacob Byer (Brittany Pieniazek); and her great grandchildren, Aubriella Byer, Ottis Byer and Isla Byer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Haverstock Funeral Home (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family in her honor.
