She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gajda and Stella Gajda (Trojanowski); her husband John E. Gardner; and her siblings, Helen Lesniak, Rose Monczka, Sue Gajda, Wanda Muszynski and Edward Gayda.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Skorupa (Rudy), Cheryl Gardner, Regina Beach, Gregory Gardner (Michelle) and Michele Magnuson (Jim); her grandchildren, Megan Nellessen (Adam), Brett Skorupa (Tara), Stephanie Carmichael (Josh), Matthew Beach (Sara), Rachel Beach, Ethan Beach, Jennifer Lyden (Chris), Emily Hersom (Dan), Jonathan Gardner, Drew Thompson (Audra) and Taylor Gorecki (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Cooper, Collin, Kinsleigh, Tyson, Charlotte, Isaac, Lucas, Ruthie, Lucy, Carson, Carly, Mason, Emma, Madelyn, Bentley and Greyson; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Gayda and Carolee Gardner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
