She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Strauch and Ellenora Strauch (Bassler); her husband Charles Hickman; her children, Paul Hickman and Cindy Hartley; her siblings, Charles, Jr., Roger, Marion, Frances Louise, Alice, Elinore and Eilene; and her granddaughter Tanya Hartley.

She is survived by: her son Dwayne Hickman of La Porte, IN; her sister JoAnn Harber of La Porte, IN; her grandchildren, Nathan Hickman, Shawna Muneos, Daniel Hickman, Theressa Hartley, Heidi Jackson and Dwayne Hickman, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Kira, Charlie, Anthony and Zack.
