She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Murray and Josephine Murray; her daughter Cathy Caples Layton; her mother-in-law Annie Lott; and her sister-in-law Linda Kay Murray.

She is survived by: her husband Missionary; her sons, Joseph Michael Caples (Michelle) and James Walter Caples (Hope); her grandchildren, Raygan Layton, Jonathan Layton, Michael Shawn Caples, Brandon Tyler Caples and Alyssa Marie Caples; and her brother James Leon Murray.
