He is survived by: his spouse Nancy H. Smith; his children, Lori Collins (Michael) of La Porte and Jeffrey Batten (Tammy) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Megan Brunner (Seth), Ashlyn Anson (Todd), Joshua Batten (Felica), Zachary Perschke (Jennifer) and Bianca Batten; his great grandchildren, Audrey Anson and Gracie Anson; and his siblings, Cynthia Besser (Steve) of Albany and Richard Batten (Susan) of Fishers.
