It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Mae Day of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura Mae is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura Mae's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virron Goodson and Ethal Goodson (Pace); and her sons, Todd A. and Mark J. Day. She is survived by: her son Rodney Day (Tina) of La Porte; her granddaughter Destanee Walker; her great grandchildren, Mia, Ava and Ali; and her sister Charlotte Ambers of La Porte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
