Larry Sims Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Sims of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Ossie and AdaWilmina Sims (Gemberling); his brother Gerald Sims; and his sister-in-law Mary Sims. He is survived by: his wife Carole Clendenen; his daughters, Sheila Williams of La Porte and Julie Kopernak (Louie) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Kristina Born of La Porte, Nicole Williams of La Porte, Hayden Kopernak of Indianapolis and Liam Kopernak of Indianapolis; his great grandchildren, Noah and Eli Born; his siblings, Shirley Goodwin (Ron) of Wanatah and Gary Sims of La Porte; and his pets, Bob and Valentine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.
