It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julien Isaac Hernandez (La Porte, Indiana), who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 15, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-abuelita Polita. He is survived by: his parents, Aurea Rose Torres and Ebenezer Silva Hernandez; his grandparents, Joaquin "Yogi", Linda Torres, Marlene Almaraz and Raul Ramos; his aunt Angela Ruiz (Oscar); his cousins, Olivia and Little Oscar; his aunt Amy James (Chris); his cousins, Emiela, Little Chris and Rocco; his aunt Yajaira Vasquez; his cousins, Jessy, Josh, Lianna, Kenny III, Cameron, Emilie and Lauren; his uncle Jeremy Torres; his cousins, Blake (Brittney) and Little Axel; his uncle Angel Almaraz (Britney); his cousins, Lorenzo and Lotti; his uncle Danny Almaraz; his cousins, Isabella and Giovanni; and also Ken Diedrich II (Godmother Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made into the "In Memory of Julien Hernandez" account at any branch of the LaPorte Community Federal Credit Union, so that we may establish a memorial at his favorite skate park in his honor.
