He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Solmos and Irene Solmos (Nemeth); his wife Arlene Cota; and his siblings, Evelyn Lenick, Charles Solmos, Gene Solmos, Mary Buzzell and Donald Solmos.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Solmos-Zwickl (Phillip) of Boston, Michael Solmos (Ronna) of Denver, Colleen Faulkner (Jim) of Jefferson City, Tricia Turner (Bill) of Indianapolis, Joele Jones (Rich) of Melbourne and Kris Solmos (Christina) of Columbus, Ohio; and his sister Lynn Moe (Richard) of Yuba City, California.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
