He was predeceased by: his parents, John Supanik and Mary Supanik (Szawara); his brother James "Jim" Supanik; and his close friends, Janet Lantz and Penny Kirkham.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Luella Anderson of La Porte, Indiana; and his godchildren, David, Chris Darwin of La Porte, Indiana and Jana Darwin of La Porte, Indiana.
