It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wilfred Palman of La Porte, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Palman and Alice Palman (Jones); his sister Julie Fletcher; and his stepson Jeff McClain. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Schreiber (Ryan) of La Porte and Lindsey Greenwood (Tyson) of New Carlisle; his stepchildren, Julie Huston (Lukas) of Douglasville, GA and Gary McClain (Leah) of Greenwood; his sister Georgeanne Ricci (John) of Indianapolis; his sister-in-law Donna Haynes (Allen) of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Tyson Jr., Melanie, Mason, Tim Greenwood, Avery, Emery, Allie, Evan Schreiber, Haylie and Thadd Munsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1237 E. Coolspring Ave., Michigan City, IN 46360.
