Joan Scherer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2020, at the age of 83, Joan Scherer of La Porte, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Scherer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Luther and Dolores Luther (Diedrich); her son Curtis Scherer; her brother Lauren Luther; and her grandson David Matthew Scherer.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Scherer; her sons, Terry Scherer (Renee) of La Porte, Greg M. Scherer of La Porte and Jeff Scherer of La Porte; her grandchildren, Noelle Anderson, Brittany, Andrew, Nicole, Kathryn and Curtis Scherer; her great grandchildren, Daven, Tatum and Willow Anderson; and her siblings, Dale Luther (Margo) of Hilton Head and Susan Nowicki (Randy) of Fish Lake. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six-feet.
