She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Nichols and Margaret Nichols (Oberem); her husband Dr. Earl R. Leinbach; her siblings, Richard Nichols, Jeanette Gaekle and Willard Nichols, Jr.; and her former husband Joseph S. Plis of La Porte.
She is survived by: her children, Matt Plis (Mary Lynne) of Glendale, Mark Plis of Tijeras, Margo Bowen (Matt) of Michiana Shores and Marti Hankins (Andy Card) of Fishers, Indiana; her grandchildren, Ben, Kliphan of Montana, Morgan Schwarz, Taylor Bowen, Max and Mason Hankins; her great grandchild Jaden Schwarz; and her sister Betty Bunce of Freeport, Florida..
Due to Covid-19 all attending are required to wear a mask.
