She is survived by: her spouse Richard T. Kowalczyk; her grandchildren, Lauren Barnhart, Craig Coffey and Emily Coffey; her sister Carmen Gillick; her friend Bozena Raic; and also, Alicia Barnhart (James) of La Porte, Thomas Kowalczyk (Paul Stearns) of Oakland, David Kowalczyk (Barbara McConnell) of Crown Point and Marti Coffey (Mark) of Shelbyville.
