It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lucile Hodowal of La Porte, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo F. Schrader and Lucille Schrader (Lambka); her husband Jack; her siblings, Nancy L. Thorne and Charles F. Schrader; her children, Patricia Schoeneich (Marc) of Leesburg, FL, Susan Handley (Kevin) of Roswell, GA, Robert Russell (Dean Urban) of La Porte, IN and Julie Woerdehoff of Iron Mountain, MI.; her grandchildren, Cara Bach (Josh), Dana Clemons (Ben), Jennifer Troyer (Chad), Allyson Tregillis (Jim), Scott Shelby, Brian Handley (Crystal) and Katie Woerdehoff; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Maria, Rosemary, Frances, Amelia Bach, Oliver Clemons, Shiloh, Willow Troyer, Isabelle and Jacob Tregillis.
