She was predeceased by: her parents, George Larson and Esther Larson (Smith); her husband Brenton C. Steck; her daughter Kandace Rice; and her stepson James Steck.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Steck of La Porte, IN, Michele Ryan (Robert) of Marion, IA, Brenton Steck Jr. of La Porte, IN and Charles Steck (Mary) of La Porte, IN; and her grandchildren, Vicki Burge, Laura Stewart-Smith, Ryan Stewart, Tiffany Hermsen, Andrew Steck and Mattie Steck. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
