She was predeceased by: her parents, James Schroff and Henrietta Schroff (Schroeder). She is survived by: her husband John David Erne; her son Alan James Barber of La Porte; her stepdaughters, Angela Nelson (Jeff) of Bloomington, IL and Elaine Waters (Michael) of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Cassandra Owen (Stephen Jr.) of La Porte, Amber Bennett of La Porte, Axton Barber of La Porte, David Barber of La Porte, Allie Jo Nelson of Bloomington, IL and Lillian Grace Waters of Chicago, IL; and her brother James Schroff, Jr. (Kathy) of Koontz Lake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
